Competitive online geothermal lease sale of 35 federal parcels totaling 113,330.52 acres in Boise, Cassia, Clark, Elmore, Lemhi, Owyhee, Twin Falls, Washington counties, held by the BLM Idaho State Office on 2026-11-17 on the Efficient Markets (EnergyNet) platform; bidding opens 9:00 a.m. MST and each parcel has its own one-hour window. The winning bid is the highest per-acre bid at or above the minimum acceptable bid; leases run an initial 10 years and are extended by diligent exploration or production. The signed Sale Notice lists every parcel, its stipulations and the payment terms; parcels can still be withdrawn by amendment before the sale.
