Inspection and Removal • Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. • Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. • Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. • Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. • The successful bidder must ensure that they have the resources, equipment and personnel to remove the goods purchased. • Please ensure that you have a vehicle at least 3FT tall to upload items from the dock to your trailer. • The successful bidder will be totally responsible for moving items from the dock to their vehicle. • The entire lot is expected to be removed on the day of pick up. • The successful bidder must schedule pick up of the equipment and the POC for scheduling pick up is Edward Whitehead (NX Inventory Specialist) @ 601-362-4471 EXT 5-5281 or by email at Edward.whitehead@va.gov. • All pick ups will be scheduled during the following times Mon-Fri. from 8AM-3:30pm Excluded Holidays.
