Overview Various research lab equipment includes older repairable equipment on two pallets. The lot is in repairable condition. This lot contains 10-11 pieces of equipment including a mass spectrometer and PolyScience temperature control device. The mass spectrometer is an analytical instrument which identifies a substance by sorting a stream of electrified particles (ions) according to their mass. Equipment is arranged on two regular size pallets measuring 48x40 inches with approximately 250 lbs each. Key Features • Bruker mass spectrometer with white main housing and multiple circular and rectangular access ports. • Mass spectrometer features blue access door with pull handle and control buttons labeled Remote A, Remote B, and Local. • PolyScience temperature control device with digital display and rotary control knob. • Additional analytical equipment components with various housings and control panels. Condition & Markings • Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. • Equipment shows signs of previous use with various surface wear and discoloration. • Some equipment has exposed internal components and wiring. Inspection and Removal • Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment. • Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. • Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. • Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchasers receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
