The Successful Bidder of this lot will be required to sign and date a Medical Statement of Intent and send to melinda.jenkins@gsa.gov prior to remitting full payment and initiating removal. Overview This lot contains an estimated 8 manual ophthalmic refractors that are past life expiration/replacement date. The items are in used condition. Each refractor is designed to calibrate or measure an individual for corrective eye-glass lenses. The units may be with or without stand and generally consist of minus and/or plus cylinders, flip cross cylinders, retinoscope lenses, face shields, rotochart, reading rod, and card holder. Condition & Markings • This lot is in used condition. Parts may be missing, and repairs may be required. • Units are past life expiration/replacement date. • All known deficiencies have been listed, though other deficiencies and repairs may be required. Inspection and Removal • Inspection and Removal: Available by appointment only. Location is closed on weekends and holidays. Please contact local custodian to schedule appointments. • Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description. • Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance. • Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchasers receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal. • Additional Information: Packing materials for shipping and handling are not available. Property requiring more than one individual to load should be augmented by additional pick-up labor. Repairs of property are not permitted on the location site.
