Washington county treasurers foreclose on property delinquent for three years and sell it at a tax foreclosure auction, conveying a treasurer's deed. There are no tax lien certificates.

Redemption period
The owner may redeem until the sale; after the treasurer's deed issues there is no redemption, except for narrow exceptions such as minors or incapacitated owners.
Interest or penalty
Not applicable — buyers receive the treasurer's deed at auction rather than a lien.
