How these sales work
New Mexico's state Property Tax Division conducts tax deed auctions for each county on a rotating schedule, selling the property outright to the highest bidder. Counties do not sell lien certificates.
A home a federal agency or government-sponsored enterprise took back after a foreclosure on a loan it insured or owned, now resold through its own program.
