Single story house set on a full walk out basement, with front and rear decks. Wood (emulated log) siding, steel roof. Lean to addition and enclosure for dog kennels. In general, the exterior of the house looks fair, with some obvious minor concerns (soffit/fascia, deckboards rotting, general wear and tear throughout the years). Some discoloration down the steel roof from the chimney indicating possible galvanic corrosion. The interior condition is... something else. You will smell the place from the driveway. This place is covered in dog urine and fecal matter, virtually corner to corner. The amount of human related refuse that is comingled is impressive in its own right. Living area, kitchen/dining, 3 bed, 1 bath, and laundry area on top. There could maybe be a second bathroom of the master bedroom. Bring a shovel and find out. Spiral staircase leads to the full height basement. More dog cages in the basement, and more of the same sights (and smells) as above. Basement appeared to use for kennels, workshop, storage, mechanicals, and home office. Mechanicals/plumbing/wiring all seem in good condition. Indeed, the 'bones' of the house seem great, but getting to them and making this place habitable is going to be a lot. The pole barn/garage seems much better in that regard, with the contents being much more typical. A room was being framed in within the pole structure, and the plywood ceiling appears to have suffered some water damage, indicating some degree of roof leaks from above. This doesn't appear to have greatly affected anything. After the pole barn is emptied, it might make a good staging area for the work on the house. Pole barn appears to have it's own electric meter/service, and a propane hook up behind. Interested bidders should contact the local branch of government regarding possible development, camping, or other use restrictions. E.g. Minimum Sq. footage requirement, utilities, etc. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately there was a recent death which occurred at this house in June of 2025.
