Framed Movie Poster from 1994 Dumb and Dumber Movie

Listing description

What the seller provided

Up for auction today is this used gloriously oversized, 24.5" x 36.5" framed monument to cinematic comedy. The 1994 Dumb and Dumber was filmed right here in Utah, where the mountains are majestic, the air is crisp and apparently the perfect backdrop for Jim Carrey to adlib "Hey, Big Gulps, huh? All right! ..to two extras. Well, see ya later!". The poster comes in a silver frame, which adds a touch of "class" just like the Lloyd's blue and Harry's orange tux. So buy it today before the giant sheepdog van drives it away. This is a used item and may have some added charm/character to it such as a scuff/scratches on the frame. Not what you’re looking for, check out our other great items on Auction or Buy Now. Check back often as our inventory is always changing. The primary filming locations across the state include: 1. Salt Lake City • The Apartment: The exterior of Harry and Lloyd's apartment (where they escape out the window from Mental) is the Smith Apartments located at 228 S 300 E. • The Airport: The "Providence Airport" scenes where Lloyd chases Mary Swanson's plane were filmed at the old Salt Lake City International Airport (before it was entirely rebuilt). • The Snowy Owl Benefit: The posh charity gala where they accidentally kill the owls was shot inside the Union Pacific Depot downtown, while the exterior shot of them pulling up in their luxury car was filmed at the Devereaux Mansion right across the street. • The Newspaper Robbery: The sidewalk scene where Lloyd gets robbed by "an old lady on a motorized cart" was filmed at an intersection downtown around 300 S and 300 E. 2. Sandy • Mary Swanson’s Family Home: The massive estate where Lloyd drops off Mary and later has his dramatic fireplace dream sequence (where he shoots the cork into the wall) was filmed at the La Caille restaurant and Chateau estate at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. 3. Park City & Deer Valley • The Mini-Bike Ride: The classic sequence of Harry and Lloyd freezing on the little pull-start mini-bike arriving in "Aspen" was filmed right down Main Street in Park City. • The Aspen Chalets: The luxury Aspen chalets and the home belonging to the villain Nicholas Andre were shot nearby in Deer Valley. 4. Ogden • "Big Gulps, huh?": The legendary unscripted convenience store scene where Lloyd addresses two bystanders was filmed at a 7-Eleven on Washington Blvd in Ogden. • Dante's Inferno: The restaurant where Harry and Lloyd accidentally poison the hitman Mental with chili peppers was filmed at a location on W 24th St. 5. Heber City • The Honeymoon Hotel: The "Honeymoon Suite" motel with the heart-shaped tub where they hide out and trade the giant sheep dog van for the mini-bike was filmed at the Heber Inn (historically the M-Star Hotel) on Main Street. 6. Orem • Studio Interiors: Almost all of the interior apartment and hotel room sets were constructed and filmed inside Osmond Studios (Intermountain Studios) in Orem, which was originally built by the Osmond family.
