What the seller provided

Advance appointment is mandatory to inspect and/or remove the aircraft by contacting Charles Tanner at 520-228-8880 or charles.tanner.7@us.af.mil or Joe Burros at (520) 228-8343 or joseph.burros@us.af.mil during normal business hours between 9:00 am to 4:00pm, (Mountain Standard time) Monday through Friday excluding weekends or holidays. You must provide at least 3 working days advance notice of intent to visually inspect the airplane. 1983 Beechcraft T-34C Aircraft, BUNO 161831. Please read the entire description carefully. **NOTE: Both FAA return to service certification and estimated flight hours remaining are predicated on Fatigue Life Remaining, and whether Full Carry Through and AFB-70's are completed. It behooves the buyer to be cognizant of these requirements prior to bidding/acquisition, especially with respect to return to service. The remaining hour calculations are based on the assumption that the aircraft continues to be flown at the current FLE burn rate as seen by the CNAF T-34 fleet. Aircraft remaining life drops dramatically if operators fly the aircraft to peak design limits. Total hours - 17,072.2 Fatigue life remaining - 9.4% Estimated flight hours remaining - 1,560.94 Forward Carry Through (FCT) conducted - Yes AFB-70 Complete - Yes Engine hours since new - 14,173.3 Engine hours since overhaul - 1,173.5 Prop hours since new - 4,685.1 Prop hours since overhaul - 75.6 Last major inspection, prop (phase 1) - 19Feb2013 Last major inspection, prop (phase 2) - 16Jun2014 Last major inspection, engine (phase 1) - 5Mar2014 Last major inspection, engine (phase 2) - 2Jun2014 Engine SERNO CE58286 Aircraft was inducted into AMARG 24 Jul 2014 in long-term preservation at Davis-Monthan AF base. **WARNING TO BIDDER: Aircraft is offered AS-IS/WHERE-IS with no spares. It is in long-term storage at the 309th AMARG, Davis-Monthan AFB. The winning bidder is responsible for all AMARG preparation and tow-to-gate costs to one of the two approved MROs outside the base. Current price to prep/tow the aircraft to United Aero or ARM (Aeronautical Restoration and Marketing) for FY27 is $34,180.06. A sizeable portion of the estimate ($19,506.65) covers worst-case changing of three tires; 10 man-hours per tire for physically changing it from the wheel, and 5.5 man-hours per tire for the removal and reinstallation of the wheel from the plane once changed. Historically only 3% of tires require replacement, and unused tire costs are refunded after financial closeout. The buyer must provide a complete tire set (with tubes) in advance—see tire specifications below. Shipping address provided separately upon award. Tire Specs: Main tires are 19.5x6.75-8 P/N 196K08-9. Tires require TUBES (P/N GL-1915N) Nose tire is 5.00-5 P/N 505C01-2. Tire requires TUBE (P/N GL-5067B) Bidder is responsible for funding AMARG to prepare and tow the aircraft to one of a number of MRO's just outside of the base, and is required to supply a set of aircraft tires/wheels: Historical records are available to review/inspect at aircraft location during physical inspection. Records are provided for informational purposes only. The accuracy and availability of records are NOT guaranteed or warranted. The removal time frame will be extended so that the End Use Certificate DLA form can be completed by the winning bidder and must be approved by the Department of War before the aircraft shall be released to the winning bidder. The End Use Certificate form is located on the "Documents" Section below. ****WARNING TO BIDDER: -The current End Use Certificate assessment timeframe is roughly 30-60 days but could move in either direction. Payment is due within five (5) business days after the End Use Certificate receives approval. Please be advised of a recent requirement regarding the End Use Certificate process: the winning bidder MUST provide proof of aircraft storage upon submitting the End Use Certificate. Please be prepared to provide a valid deed or lease agreement. - Upon approval of the End Use by DLA DoD Trade Security, the winning bidder pays GSA the purchase price. Separately: Since this aircraft is located in AMARG, a government contractor, additional fees will be assessed by AMARG. It is solely the responsibility of the winning bidder to coordinate and pay additional fees directly to AMARG (Davis-Monthan Air Force Base) to successfully remove this aircraft. AMARG Service for prep/tow a. Remove preservation material sufficient to access the cockpit b. Paint over rondel and Navy markings except BUNO. Include removal of preservation as necessary to access Navy markings that may be obscured c. Perform towability check. Change and service tire and wheel assemblies, tires/tubes to be provided by the customer d. Pull items from the removed item (CO3) list and place in cockpit (clocks, emergency transmitter) e. Pull and waterproof aircraft records and place in the cockpit f. Conduct standard withdrawal items such as radiation checks g. Prepare and tow aircraft to the MRO base side gate for transfer Interested parties are strongly encouraged to inspect the aircraft prior to bidding or procurement. Specific engine and maintenance due questions for this aircraft are upon request. This aircraft may NOT be in compliance with applicable FAA requirements and has neither been registered with the FAA nor maintained in accordance with FAA standards. The buyer is responsible for bringing this aircraft into compliance with applicable standards by obtaining all necessary FAA inspections or modifications. This aircraft was certified by the United States Navy (USN) and flown under Military Type Certification (MTC) for purposes of airworthiness. It is the assuming owner's responsibility to obtain airworthiness certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or equivalent agency. The USN does not possess all the technical data required to obtain such certification and it is thereby incumbent upon the owner to work with the appropriate Type Certificate (TC) and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) holders to certify and confirm the aircraft is in the configuration desired by the operator.
