The Aquarion Water Authority, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, and The Nature Conservancy are offering approximately 126,918 board feet (Intl. ¼”) of standing timber and 158 cords of hardwood firewood that that have been marked for harvesting. This timber is located on 20 acres in the town of Easton, Connecticut, on the Aspetuck-Hemlock Reservoir Block of Centennial Watershed State Forest. Trees to be purchased and harvested are marked with orange paint at approximate head height and at stump level. Approximately 126,918 board feet of sawtimber and 158 cords of firewood/pulpwood on 20 acres. Sealed bids are due 2026-10-01; timber showing 2026-09-16. Performance deposit $2,000; contract two years from date of bid award. The successful bidder purchases and harvests the designated forest products under a DEEP sales agreement.
