LOTS 1 TO 12 INC BLK 304 IDLEWILD #4. In the heart of Idlewild, across the street from the lake of the same name. ~0.7 acre panhandle parcel; ~50 ft frontage on Lake Dr (to E), ~350 ft deep. Cottage in the panhandle at the roadside. No real lake views to be had. The driveway access appears to be from an alley along the north side of the parcel. This leads down hill to the rear of the house, where there is a garage. More specifically, the garage is under the house. Grounds of the parcel are overgrown. The house appears to have been vacant for a while. Exterior appears in generally fair condition, with the notable exception of the roof. No notable damage, but it's old and degraded. Water infiltration is present in every room to some degree. Localized mold in spots. Ceilings look not too far away from dropping. Chimney flashing must be poor, because that area is a total mess. All in all, the interior is in surprisingly good shape considering, and this will likely make a good rehab project if that is addressed in short order. The rear of the house is sitting on a block foundation; comprising of the garage and mechanical area. The front is on crawlspace. Some vertical and stair step cracks in the block foundation, but no obvious deflection or horizontal cracking. The worst of of this is in the window at the basement stairs. Two small bedrooms and a tiny bathroom. Wood floors throughout on the ground level, which appear in good condition and not yet impacted by the moisture.
